English Cuppa Tea
To prepare an English cup of tea:
- Boil fresh water.
- Add one teaspoon of loose tea leaves or one tea bag per cup to the
teapot.
- Steep the tea for 3 minutes.
- Pour the tea into cups, use a strainer for loose tea leaves.
- Optionally, add milk and sugar/sweetener to taste.
All tea prepared where milk, sugar, or sweetener is added before the tea
is considered steeped is to be avoided.
