English Cuppa Tea

To prepare an English cup of tea:

  1. Boil fresh water.
  2. Add one teaspoon of loose tea leaves or one tea bag per cup to the teapot.
  3. Steep the tea for 3 minutes.
  4. Pour the tea into cups, use a strainer for loose tea leaves.
  5. Optionally, add milk and sugar/sweetener to taste.
All tea prepared where milk, sugar, or sweetener is added before the tea is considered steeped is to be avoided.
